Her passing was announced in a online announcement by the Kennedy Presidential Library.
“Our beloved Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”

In a published essay in November, she disclosed that she had been suffering from AML, a form of leukemia with a rare mutation.
This form of cancer is a cancer that affects the body's blood-forming tissues.
